Default Blast from the past

Here are some pictures of some old watercross sleds and drag sleds that I built years ago.

What's in that TX chassis? Centurion 500 or a 650? I'm guessing 650.

Got any more?

The TX Chassis started life as a 1978 250 TX Free Air with a cleated track. I started on a Sunday and the following Saterday is when the picture was taken. At that point it was a 1978 TX with a Aaen 660 big bore with a rubber track studded to the hilt. Back in those days there was a Winter Waterskips in Siren WI. That picture was taken at Yellow Lake the day before the race. The thing was kind of scary on the ice but on the water it went pretty good.

Nice legs Paul! Pretty cool to see the sleds you have built in the past.

Tim you animal. Didn't think you looked at things like that. The sled with the Centurion hood on it has a full mod 700 cat twin under the hood. The thing was fast as hell when it wasn't chucking out pistons.

Some really cool older iron there Riley.
Looks like a lot of good work went into them as well.

Thanks SD wish I had a dollar for every hour I spent working on those sleds. Lived in the garage many nights. The wife thought I loved my sleds more than her.
