Question why did my guages quit working yesterday?

Nothing unusual happened, I just stopped and looked down at them and they weren't working. I was of course hoping it was just a fuse or something simple, but it does not say anything about fuses in the owners manual. Any ideas?

EDIT: I guess it is possible that something came off or apart because of vibration. I will investigate it closer than I did on the trail. I have to build a ramp to get the sled out of the truck though and that's going to take some ambition.-----> managed to wiggle it out enough to open the hood(it's in the back pointing out the back)...anyways I checked it over and nothing came unplugged.

Headlights and taillights work. I started it up to check. It starts and runs just fine with no gauges.
....at least I am not standing there on the trail wondering why it won't run.

I figured it out and fixed it!!! After taking out 6 star screws under the hood to get at the back of the gauges and wiring harness I found a broken wire. 4 wires come out of the main wiring harness and go to a small(1"x1") square connector that is not connected to anything. The wire broke way down in the crotch of where the arms of the wiring harness were taped together. Whoooohoooooooo easy fix. Kept 75 miles off the odometer, too.

That means you should go to Radio Shack, buy a switch, and put it in there....
