Default Seat and gastank weights?

My rxl has the one piece seat tank setup. I have to replace it this year and trying to decide what to use. I'm sure someone has a seat and gastank laying around they can weigh? I'd like individual weights of gas tanks and seats if possible. Weights of edge tank and seat, early polaris seat ( I have a tank to weigh this weekend). I've got one piece seat tank from aggressive chassis and wedge chassis, will weigh them both this weekend.
I'm curious what the weights of everything is before I decide what seat to use. I was originally going to get a boss seat for an edge but I don't think it's gonna happen, I put it off too long lol.

That's cool. I've got a tank from a 91 sled, should be the same. I'll weight that when I weigh the 1 piece seats.

How fast do you need the weights? I have a racer style seat and tank on my race sled that will be coming off, but I dont know when I will get them off.

What do you mean by racer style? I'm not in a giant hurry. Sure, whenever you get it off please weigh it.

Ahhh ok. Never noticed you had a seat like that. Yes if/when you take it off please weigh it. I tried weighing my seats this weekend but my house scales didn't sound right lol. I'll weigh them tonight with different scales.

Ok I finally weighed my seat lol.
My stock 1 piece seat from my 96 rxl with electric fuel gauge pickup... 29 pounds
Gas tank from 2 piece seat tank.... 7 pounds +17 pounds for seat as ace weighed =24 pounds.
I've got a seat from aggressive sled on the rxl now and didn't have the enthusiasm to pull it off and weigh it lol.

Sorry it took so long but I finally weighed my racer style seat and tank. 16lbs for the seat with tail light assemble and 9lbs for the tank with gauge. Also weighed the old Indy 650 seat and 7 gal tank, the old 650 seat with tail light assembly weighs just under 16lbs and the 7 gal tank is just under 7 lbs with gauge.

^^ Is that a stock shorty seat or a boss? I don't like how the stock shorty seat looks on a wedge or I'd go that route.

its the prox seat. it looks the same on the tunnel but the tank doesnt fit well in the couling. so I probably will either cut the couling or get rid of it?

I've actually been thinking about buying some different firmness foam pieces and make my own seat. I think I could get it as light as a boss, but I'm worried what it would look like lol.
