Default What would i want for gearing etc..

Ok so as you may or may not know, My project will be putting a 500 twin fuji in my sled, along with a 1.5" lug track, and 8 tooth drivers.

What do i want to do for cluthing and gearing? I need new chain and gears anyways cuz mine are shot, But im sure i need to change gearing for sure cuz of the smaller drivers. What would you recommned for gearing? I want some nice low end power, but decent top end. Or is there a gear combo that i could switch out whenever i wanted.

Like lets say i have one size on top, and two different bottom ones. (or the other way around, either way) Like i could switch out one gear if i wanted low end and the other one for better top end. Sorry if thats confusing i dono how to explain it..

Also I am planning on getting some twin pipes for it. But i dont know for sure about those yet, I dont have the cash yet. So maybe i should wait to gear and clutch it to see if i put pipes on it?

If you are seriously going to put the pipes on, do that first since, you would have to do it all over again later when changing from a single pipe to a double setup.

Should i maybe go for a single pipe?

Also ive read ill need to change jets and shit all the time for it to run right even if the weather just changes a little, Is this true?

And a single pipe will allow me to run the same jets in differenet weather without affecting it too much?

A single pipe would be more forgiving to a wider temp range than twins would.
Unless you can find a set of OEM pipes, stick with the single.

Ok i think thats what i will do, But those one pipes i showed you before, you said they looked stock, They did look stock by the can kinda, Who knows.. If i can get a single pipe for a good price ill get it as long as i have the money, I still need a little more cash before i can pick up the engine, Its waiting for me right now, Im hoping i can sell some parts to get the money soon. Ive got my 133" xtra 10 skid and track for sale now, along with the mxz parts
