Default Power Claw Track

I bit the pillow as Harry would say and bought picked up this track. Retail is in the $800s and I picked it up for $535 OTD. The best price that I found prior to this was $700. The reviews are awesome and this is supposed to be the cat's ass. Look out Vert.

Sorry Mr. Cuzz, it's gonna take more than that to make me worry about a Cat with a mod onboard. I guess that track will be ok until you get a sled that'll turn a Challenger.

Did you get it ported yet? Or does that one allow for porting?

I am going to look into getting it ported. Is that something I can do myself? I am looking for a few other things at Hay Days too. I won't have any huge HP but I will improve the sled.

You probably can as long as your careful. Isn't that track a single ply? Use care to only cut/drill where you want ports. I feel radiused ports are stronger than some of the square cut ones I've seen. Square port puts stress point at corners.

Just take your time and cut carefully.

Why did you not wait till after Haydays to order that track. Don't you think that they may be selling them at haydays for cheaper! Especially if you wait till the last minute on Sunday when there closing and clearing out alot of crap!

Retail is over $800. It is a brand new track that isn't really out yet. The only real rides on it were the demos of the 2009 M-Series at the end of last winter. I might save a few bucks IF they had one at Hay Days but I doubt it. This place didn't have that many left so I needed to jump on it. The best price I got was from a friend who manages a dealership for around $700. I don't think anyone will beat this price.

I didn't pay for shipping. I was going to pick it up when I went to the UP next month or in October. I bet I can call and ask him to bring it to Hay Days. Good call. Thanks.

They shipped 3 to Norway and 1 to Cali Daryl said. I am not sure how many are left after I took 1 also. Track better rip or I'll be a little upset. Now I just need to get more input on the AR drivers.

Default Powerclaw Track

I did my first track change yesterday with the help of a friend and it wasn't that bad. A few hiccups because of difference because he has an older model... but not as big of a deal as I thought.

I'll post picture of the track tonight.

All I will say is wow from the quick rip I had around the yard. My old Challenger would spin and this track just hooked and lifted the front end. I can't wait to get out and ride it this coming weekend.

From the wizards who made you think your new stock track is no good, to you, who bought another one, and already thinks it's vastly superior after going 10 feet on grass.

I took my Challenger for a ride around the yard with the same amount of snow and it didn't hook. I know things might change in deeper snow conditions... but this was what I saw in a short ride with both tracks in similar conditions. I'll report back next week after I ride it.

Well not that I'm changing anytime soon, (unless it be for that 3" lug monster), in shallow snow my Challenger Extreme just spins. Got to have some depth to dig into.
