If your type of riding takes you both on and off the trail, the Switchback 800 Dragon is among the best cross-over sleds in the marketplace. The new 800 Cleanfire Injection mono-block twin provides you with tons of top-end and torque while weighing in at a mere 2.5 pounds more than the 700 Liberty motor. The new P2 secondary clutch is the next generation, delivering better backshift and improved top speed. On the snow is the Campolast 1.25 inch Ripsaw track that works great in deep snow and on the trail. The 136 inch fully coupled IQ skid tackles the snow well with plenty of grab both on and off the trail.

OSM test riders loved the Dragon package. It was such a comfortable ride, the handlebar hooks worked very well, and it looked far better than the straight Switchback 800. Everyone noticed how the handlebars vibrated especially at idle but we were told this would be fixed in production. On the trails, the crew had no issues with the running boards, however, off trail, there was a ton of snow build-up, which turned to ice on the colder days. The RydeFX shock combination is amazing in deep snow, but was a bit stiff on trail. Thatís not to say the Dragon sucks on trails, it just means youíll have to ride it more to find the proper settings best for you. We should always have such nice problems!

I can see electric start being standard on models like the switchback, its a crossover sled, so that means most of its life will be spent on the trails. When you guys look at new sleds you need to realize that they are not marketing them to you, they are marketing them towards the average consumer. And the average consumer is a turn key rider. They only way for them to tell that there is a 40lb difference is by someone telling them that.

Fawkin hawt is what that sled is!! The extra weight for the e-start sucks but come on guys this chassis is the shiznitz. If you haven't ridden an iq chassis you need to find someone that demos. I love my switchy and will never go back to an older chassis. Anyone that wants to test pilot mine is more than welcome at the group ride, as long as your a contributing member lol.

WTF Harry you left your job in Indy and moved back to Michigan, where you don't have a job? Dude jobs are becoming very hard to come by in Michigan.
