I ordered some checkered flag decals for my seats. These are OEM Polaris ones.
Has anyone put these on before?
I am thinking I need to use a heat gun or hair dryer?

Don't want to screw them up.

I think I'll join your thread ace, I hate seeing you chat with you and the other you.

I didn't know you could get seat decals. Sounds cool, I hate boring seats and don't wanna pay for a cool one lol. Lets have the link where you ordered them, I'm curious. As for how to apply, you should be right about the iron. I can't see it being any different than a regular iron on patch. Bring on the linky.

you can order the Polaris ones from your dealer. I had to buy the whole decal with the Polaris name on it too. I'm going to cut out the flags and put them on.

By the way, this is the cheapest dealer around, I ordered parts on Sunday and got all of them on Wed.

If i would have went to my dealer and orderd, it wold have cost me about $380 w/tax.
I got them for $308 w/shipping.

Sounds cool ace. Link didn't go to the decal kit so I didn't see them. Snap some pics man, sounds cool!

Make sure you take some pic's, I would really like to see how to put the stickers on and if they will stay on.
Cool link even thow there were no stickers lots of other stuff to look at!
Just a thought...
Maybe you could do a "How To Apply Seat Stickers" tutorial.

Looks like I'm gonna have to be the Guinea pig.!!

It may be a week, my parts and accessories are arriving.

Also I had a crease in my belly pan and a rivet pulled out of it.
Guy i bought it from hit an ice heave out on lake.
Didn't look too bad, but it was bugging the shit out of me.
Was at a swap meet over the weekend and a guy was leaving and loading a nice 2002 XCR 800
belly pan in his trailer. I asked what he was looking to get for it. (thinking maybe $50-100)
and he says $20!! WHAT LUCK!!!

My son got the bolts on and aligned, just needs to be riveted.

There is a kit you need to get to put these stickers on. I have not personally done it but a friend of mine has and he bought the kit from Polaris. They aren't that hard to do. from what I understand
