Default For Sale Two place covered trailer.

Covered 2 place R and R trailer. Has everything, needs nothing. Good condition. Only flaw is there was a ski put through the front (by my father) a while ago. It is fixed now to the best of our abilities. You will notice some creases but we are going to bang out a little more of it this week. I will not be here all week as I have found a temporary job in Kalamazoo. So call me with any offers.

(317) 529-0037
or
(989) 751-9696 (fathers cell)

I may not pick up right away but leave a message.

We have the paperwork.

$1400 Might consider trade for a off trail sled.

And for some reason this site is loving tubesteak right now and wont let me upload photos. You can view them here.

Hey Harry will it fit a long track sled in there? I may be interested, especially if your willing to trade for my triple.

I think it will. We could always check if I havent sold it at the next snow sho. I will think about the trade, but I would rather have the cash now.

Olaf, I am selling it to pay bills, plus me and my dad are just going to get and share a 4 place trailer.

I'm looking for, still haven't found for a price I can afford. While gas prices were soaring anything big was cheap, but now the prices are on the rise because fuel is down again. Can you measure your trailer for me Harry?

As nice as it is to tow an open and save on gas.... it is nicer to have clean sleds with no salt or rust on them. You do whatcha gotta do Harry but I suggest selling the AC instead.

I hate to agree with slanteye because I want your trailer. But, if it's about the money dude I totally agree with slanteye. I like my open trailer but the salty road slush in the winter fuckin blows. Did you see the rust on my triple pipes in hastings? That would be from my lovely open trailer on salty ass michigan roads. If it's an option slap a forsale sign on the kitty.

I was going to sell mine but it really isn't worth it. It is good for storage up in the UP and if I can learn how to keep my foot off the gas and keep it at 65mph it really isn't so bad. If I didn't have a brand new sled and it was beat up a little I'd probably sell it. You did brag on how clean your sleds were Harry. Can your truck pull a 4-place enclosed, Harry? If not, you'll hate it once you head to the UP. Only other option is to get a Skinz waterproof cover.

I will measure it ASAP Mud. Olaf, my truck can easily pull a four place. I am seriously considering selling the kitty kat also...you do know the four place would be covered too right?

LOL I have my truck hooked to 10000 lbs today and was chugging right along.

If that's the case, I gotta call BS Harry.

You may have pulled 10k, you didn't pull it easy.

As for a 4 place enclosed, you may drag it around, but let me know what roads you're taking if you come west with it. Wind is gonna kick that 1500 all over the place.

In Harries defense the 5.3 is a pretty damn strong engine, and with 3.89 gear ratio it'll pull. That is assuming he has a Chevy half ton with the 5.3 as I do. I'm not sure about pulling 10,000 lbs easily though lol.

That was my point, it might do it, but no way it's without some puckering.

10k would be a real grunt for my 3/4 ton gas burner, it might do it out here, but not easily. As it is I'm thinking of adding airbags to rear before I install deck and load with 2 sleds. It'll handle pulling that weight no problem, but with it up high it might be a little squirrelly.

Vert, I had been thinking about something like a sled deck for this year provided I had the money(which I now don't) but my plan was to make a removable flatbed type deck. Mount it in the same spots as the stock box, have fold up sides, storage boxes etc. Then when you need a box its as simple as unbolt, lift, lift, bolt.

Too many steps there. I understand your point, and it's very much valid. I'd just like to keep my bed in place and have it where I just drop the deck out when summer gets here. Or leave it in for wheelers.

Now I am thinking of making the sides of deck fold upward for hauling 1 sled. Seems it would be simpler to operates than sliding out. It would also limit the "oh shit" moments of slipping off sides.

With a half ton you wouldn't do it once out here, it would be toast after 1 trip up loaded with sled and gear.

If you like your transmission, I wouldnt do it again. Your truck is only rated for 8000 maximum!! Did you even think about the brakes Slowing that much weight is a little hard on a halfton truck, Duh...

Pulling a 4 place covered trailer is a lot diff than pulling a 2 place, especially with a half ton.
