Default Power Jets

Has anyone had any experience with them or know of anyone who has 1st hand use of them?

Talking with Curt at Fastrax about the ATAAC units and while he agrees they will work, he's never installed any on a UB motor, has no idea how well they will perform. He has however installed multiple Power Jets to both customers and his own UB motors with great results. I'm leaning that way but wanted some opinions/info if it was out there.

adds fuel to the intake of the carb to richen the mixture depending on what setting you have it at.

Do they work pretty good? Anyone used them?

How about SLP power paks for the kehein carbs? Im not planning on getting them im just curious if anyones used them and if they worked haha

Exactly right, meters fuel in a separate circuit to richen mixture. Say I'm jetted for 10k with actual jets, these will allow me to jet for lower elevations without tearing carbs apart each time.

there pretty old school but they work. there is a jet or some type of adjustable meter in the power jet. basically an external way of changing jetting. kind of what the dial a jet is based on.

Exactly what Curt said. When I asked how and where to set them for a specific elevation his response was really simple:

"Anytime you set them, just go as fat as the engine will stand without bogging, then back them off till it clears. There is no chart or spec for it, set it by feel and how the plugs look if you really want. Otherwise keep it on the fat side and motor will handle it fine"

Cool with me, the simpler the better.

They go in this weekend so we'll see how they work out. Anybody got a spare set of Mikunis, just in case ..........lol.
