I got a nice Pantera yesterday and from what I can tell the original fuel pump bit the dust and the guy bought a new aftermarket pump and never finished putting it in,he also didnt hook the oil injection back up?
Where can I find info on the Pantera's oil injection unit,I dont have a clue how it's suspossed to be hooked up?
Would pre mixing be a better way to go?

I went looking and everything looks right except for the oil injector gear on my Spirit motor isnt like any of the ones shown?
It screws into the recoil and these all look like the gear is in the case?
Wonder why mine is diffrent?
I was looking at the wrong part.
I got it figured out except for one hose,there are 2 hoses coming off the oil tank,one goes to the pump,the other isnt hooked up.
It's a 80 Pantera according to the dash ect..by the way.
There is suspossed to be a gauge for the oil but it's missing so Im guessing that's where the hose goes?
Can I cap this hose off?
I have another question too,is there suspossed to be any movement in the jack shaft/brake rotor,it has a little play in it?

The 80 didn't have a gauge as such, but a line that went through the console that showed the oil level. That line came off the top of the tank and returned to the bottom, the feed to the pump comes off the bottom as well. There is also a tee near the top of the tank level line that was used as a breather line too.
They have the front bottom line going to the oil pump,the back rear line looped and plugged in the top back oil nipple and the front top line is the one flopping in the wind lol.
So that line thats looped just snaps into the little bracket under the dash?
The rotor has side to side looseness not up and down,there's a collar that Im not sure if it's adjustable but if it is that would fix it?

Fixed the steering tonight,who ever had it let the clamp on the steering shaft get so loose it wallowed out the hole and cracked it in a couple of spots on the right side.
I got the bolt out and had a longer one in my bin of bolts and nut's and I sandwiched a couple of large washers in between the metal and that did the trick.
While I was doing this I found a broken track adjuster spring on the right front side of the track.
I looked on the web and found one on mfgsupply.com and ordered it,now I have to figure out how to get it put on LOL!!!
I found the T for the oil injection in the bottom under the steering,it had a couple of pieces of small tubing on it,wish I had a diagram showing how it all fit's together?

I cant find pictures of where this oil line goes at all,I dont see any place for it to go either but it has to go somewhere lol!
Like I said the one line loops from the top and goes under the dash then back to the bottom the other bottom line goes to the actual pump and the other top line is the unhooked one.
Theres also a small nipple on top of the gas tank near the main gas line that is for a vent Im guessing?

I have the Tee for the primer deal in the gas line but what is this Tee you speak of and where does it go inline?
I havnt found anymore Tee's laying in the engine compartment lol!
