Did you look on the inside of the hood? They have the stock settings usually on a sticker. I don't want to make you look stupid or anything, just checking.

the 600 case reed pipes will be way off for the xlt engine, you can dial them in to run but it might be making peak hp at 7000 rpm instead of 8 grand,

it was loading up on the ride last year wasnt it? drop the pilots one size and see if that helps. then drop the needles one position and see if that helps, only do one at a time, you can do it on a jack stand if you dont have snow. watch the plugs and make notes of temps vs color on the day you play with jetting, you dont need another burn down!

I took madcows advice on the pipes and went back to the single choker. We tore the carbs down cleaned em,found the choke cable a little tight. The mag side choke seemed to be hanging. Put em back in, doesnt bog on the stand anymore and no gassy smell at idle just amsoil aroma. Headed to the lake tonight for the real test.

Here you go ghostrider.

It covers every sled from 96-98. I am pretty sure the Carbs are the same from the 98 Aggressive XLT to the 99. So here you go.

hey thanks dirty harry I have that one already though. The 98 came with the vm38s and the 99 came with the tm38s. Everything else is similar between the 98 and 99.
