I burnt down a motor with the V force or whatever they were called in the day and never had any of those plugs last very long. Waste of money.

EDIT: Split Fire was the name of the plug I had that burnt a motor on me.

I agree with the above. Iridiums haven't been lasting at all in my engine for some reason. I'll try the regular NGKs and see what happens but its worth a shot for the $5-$10 difference.

I used to use NGK's but have recently changed over to Champion Copper Plus Spark Plugs! I have no complaint's at all with these plugs! Plus they are around the same price as NGK's.

I went on a mini quest to find some Champion plugs yesterday morning. Everyone in town doesn't seem to have them, but NAPA was able to get some shipped from another store an hour away. They should be here late today or tomorrow.

I tried NGKs in my Liberty 600, but they fouled within a couple hundred miles. I went to what Polaris says to use and never changed the plugs once last season in the 550 miles I rode.

anyone know how often the plugs should be changed?

I still have the original plugs in both my sleds and one has 1700 miles and the other just over 1000 miles. both sleds plugs are that light brown color and I see no ovious signs of wear!! should they be changed any ways?

^^Rock, you makin fun of me?

Hey Rich, are those Champs you got premium plugs? Are they a higher grade than the normal RN57YCC? I have trouble finding plugs around here for the Liberties. The dealer carries them, and the BPR9ES, but he's right on the trail and it seems like he's sold out whenever I need some. NAPA and Mills Fleet Farm don't carry them, which pisses me off. That's the plug for pretty much all Polaris sleds from 2000 on. Why wouldn't more places carry them? Sleds go through a lot of plugs.
