Piston top doesn't appear to show signs of lean out, if you want to see that, ask MX about his piston in the SKS700, 275 miles and PTO side has a football "engraved" on the top of the piston!! Anyways, he's back up and running again. Are you running the little Suzie just in the Winter??

That's definitely from running lean and hot into the exhaust (not quite enough back pressure) for the temps.

my motor guy said he thinks he can save the cylinder without going bigger, that all the marks just looked like aluminum reside that he can get odd in either the hot tank or a acid bath. so thats a plus, save a bore for later this winter :D lol but if all the parts come in and him we can get the cylinder done i shold be able to put it back togeather for the weeekend :D yaaay :-)

Do it up, nitrogen bottle, 300 picks in each tire, and loud pipes

umm it has a loud pipe, has about 700 studs per rear tire, and well nitrous doesnt work well for circle track.

Fattening up the jetting will prolly take care of the problem, but repacking the silencer is always a good idea.

Ever consider using a PowerJet on it? Makes jetting fairly quick and simple. Seems it would lend itself well to this application.

It's great for winter applications due to the temperature swings, but really not needed for summer use..

PowerJet is a variation of Dial-a-Jet. Metal contruction, needle valve port added for additional fuel circuit. Feeds off bottom of bowl on sleds, sure it would be the same in your application. If I'm not mistaken, 1/4 turn = 1 jet size. Work well on sleds.

Isn't it winter now, and further isn't now when he had meltdown?
