Default In with the new

Well maybe I am some sort of long lost brother to DCUBA because it seems that the last 3 seasons my totally extreme type of riding has really taken a toll on the Ol RMK and she's showing it. With a hole the size of a football field in the right side belly pan from 4 or 5 different exhuast setups(non of which fit stock or like any of the others), a tunnel extension that looks more like swiss cheese from the rivets ripping through it, running boards that are droopier than a bloodhouds ears, a paddle track and suspension with over 5000mi on them she just aint herself anymore. Even though I fixed the spagetti noodle steering post issue I fear its just a matter of time before the whole thing implodes somewhere in the woods. So I had to find something else that could withstand my type of agressive boondocking for a few years to come, and much to Rubi's dismay this is what has found a new home in my garage....

Fuck a drag sled lol, I gave up on going fast. I'd prefer tool around in deep snow than go fast.

Its a 440

I've put powderhounds on my RMK last year and I love em

It's staying a 440 for at least the rest of this season, just going to be trail converted.

I am trying to decide between Powderhounds and Powder Pros. I have had Powder Pros before and was very happy with them but everyone seems to love the Sly Dogs including Cuzz. Price is about the same. I think the Sly Dogs are lighter but you can not hook a Sno Bunje to the ski loop which is what I normally do.

i do the same, but i've learned that sometimes the spindle works better, especially since the bunge hook will just release as the sled passes...

I'm just going to put fish plates or something on the tunnel for now and it should hold for a while. And the shocks really need to be revalved, this thing rides like a brick now.

bill you have access to nitrogen? you could pick up some 3.5 wt oil, drop it in there and it would do almost the same as the revalve i was talking to you about.

or i can put the 5 or 7wt in and just remove the shim

So does that mean all your parts from the RMK are officially for sale now, or you still just checking interest on most?

Between those 2, go with Powder Pros, you'll love them.

Or go all out and put Flexi's on it ........

I guess so, as much as I hate to see it all go I need the $$$. But I think I'm keeping the bars now, not a big fan of the grip tape on the IQr now....
