Default any mod ideas differnt sled?

Well my 96 XCR 600 got stolen but just last night I drove 450miles to trade a mud truck for a 99 SKS 700. It needs a new seat right now it's sporting duck tape. And he said the oil pump is weak. Any one have any ideas for some mods?

Twin pipe it (or single), rejet it for the pipes obviously, clutch it, maybe gears. Maybe a track depending what you want and whats already on it.

Dont twin pipe it unless you want a finicky machine. Go over it and make sure everything is right, then talk to MX86 and Polaris1Man for clutching ideas - then talk to Madcow to get parts for it (and tweak it),

I guess i like the twin pipes since they get the rpms up. toss on a tempa flow with the twin pipes and it might take out some of the fussy. the single pipe is a 19 lb wieght loss.

i can also get slp pipes, i do not recomend there twin pipes for a trail rider. there single pipes seem to work ok but with less weight loss than aaen.

i have some take off oil pumps. let me know if you have a 3 outlet or 4.

Honestly I would keep the engine stock other then clutching and jetting. I run a 98 engine with 220 jugs which supposedly catch rings on the exaust ports, I kept her stock and the engine must have at least 7k miles, and still puts a rx-1 to shame in a race. I do alot of riding up in cantwell and these sleds have plenty of power for it.
