Im sure they are, but i really dont want a 4 stroke. Ill stick with the 2 strokes now, i like them better, and i already know i can rebuild the engine. Well i dono about all the gear case and shit, but i can do the engine.

find a banshee. they can be wicked fast if build right. but i rode a 2001 banshee completely stock, and it flew..

*edit* blasters are fun quad.. i had 3 of em. like 93 or 94, 97 and a 2001. i had a 240 big bore kit on the 2001 blaster. they were fun to ride, a lil too small tho..

I looked on craigslist, i dono where else to look. Id be happy with a shitty blaster, but a bashee would be bad ass, those are 350 2 strokes or not? Im pretty sure theyre 350s tho.

O ya im sure just a stock banshee will fly, a 350 2 stroke on a quad is already quite a bit of power haha..

They got 2 pipes or is it a single pipe? For stock..

2 of everything, 2 cyl, 2 pipes, 2 carbs. very touchy, and like to pop. If yo get one make sure to get the 2-1 carb kit to make yourself happy. Banshees are know cor the carbs un-synking randomly and burning up.

If you must have 2-stroke the late 80's Honda and Suzuki 250r's were very good and very fast machines. So you may want to look at them too.

Banshee was a 2 stroke until it was discontinued in 2006.

the YFZ450 is yami's 4 stroke along with the raptor 700

not really. First thing i would do is get a TORS elimination kit. second would be to upgrade the shocks, 3rd would be updating the porting design and get a good set of Pipes to match, and of course upgrade the clutch to handle the improved HP.

I've got a MasterCraft TriStar from 1989. It's a pretty good tow boat, but too small for doing any kind of ultra-agressive lounging. So this summer I am going to upgrade to a MasterCraft ProStar 209, X-9 or maybe a Malibu Sunscape 21. The Sunscape is a v-drive, but has a small slalom wake, so it might be the best fit. The v-drive has a roomier interior, but their popularity makes them more expensive. Whatever happens, I want to race Cuzzi's pooter.

Rubi The Gerbil and I used to do a bunch of water sports, but then we kind of quit for a few years. I'm trying to get them started again, but I think Rubi is permanently broken and The Gerbil only likes water in small doses. Maybe with a new boat they'll come out to the lake on a Saturday and enjoy themselves rather than bitching about work. Then again, maybe hiding in a dark house bitching about work is theraputic after being in the sun all week.

If anyone sees a cheap project quad for me, let me know. In MN.. Id like to get something like a banshee so it has some potential for power, but id be willing to go with a blaster just to have something to fuck around on in the summer. I dont care as long as its decent and fixable.

the banshee was a blast to ride and a fun machine, but... if you get into any tight woods or slow hard riding, not so fun, the best upgrade you could do is get the line coolers, head coolers and an electric fan for the radiator. it seemed like they always were pushing water out.

the other bad thing about them is they are ment to spin, put on aggressive tires for the trail and you are burning clutches, leave the stock tires on there and keep the wheel speed up and the sled ripped real nice.

You guys think it would be worth it for me to pick up a little blaster to mess around on? Would be my first quad, so it wouldnt be too bad. Tho i know its just a 200cc air cooled engine, im sure it will be decent, or not? I think i found two, one runs and the other is parts or something.. Im gona get some more info on them.
