Default lefty throttle hook up

i just installed a lefty throttle on my 800 rmk, its the two flipper cables, to single carb cable style, all went well with the hook up, but the left flipper doesnt pull the right flipper so it will kill the engine as the throttle safety switch is not being activated by the right flipper, any ideas, or will this style not work on poos

That's the Powermadd design.
You have to disconect the wire to your throttle safety switch, and then it will work fine.
Otherwise, what is happening is that your left side throttle is opening your carbs / EFI while the right side throttle is not moving.
The safety switch "thinks" that your carbs / EFI are frozen open while your throttle is closed, so it shuts your motor down.
Disconect the brown wire to your safety switch and this problem AND safety feature goes away.

This issue is why I designed mine to operate the right side throttle.
The way I set them up, they work along with your safety switches in place.

^^^ Sounds like same way mine works, left throttle "pulls" right throttle open, which in turn opens carbs.

Ya,
Everyone who is still making them use one form or another of this design just for those safety switches.
What kind are you running?

You know I don't think it has brand name on it. It was on sled when I purchased. I do know it's not Goldfinger, I had that on Yammi when I had it.

May be a Lefty's type. Red trigger, no lockout. I seldom use it unless really out of shape in trees.

That's normally when we use them.
2 or 3 times a year they will basically save your butt in the mountains.

Small red trigger shaped like the Gold Finger is a Kinetics.
They are a good unit. No lock out pin, they were doing it before we had pins.
Same as when I started.
Kinetic is no longer building throttles though.
They were one of the 8 of us that were doing it early on.
Now there are 4 of us.
