700 Polaris Liberty twin engine out of 2000 RMK chassis, approximately 3600 total miles.
Here's the engines story as I know it. The previous owner before me has had it completely tor apart at least once (if not more times)between 0 -2100 miles.
That's when I got it. At about 2900 miles the bolts mounting the oil pump backed out and sheared off (bad/old loctite)while the sled was running. This caused a lack of oil to the Mag side of the engine(closest to oil pump) and so the Mag side piston and cylinder where damaged. However, there was enough oil in the other lines to keep anything else from getting damaged. I replaced the damaged MAG side cylinder(824) with a new/used cylinder(220) and I also replaced the piston. So now this engine has a 824 PTO cylinder and a 220 MAG cylinder. At that time I also added new gaskets, rings washers and light weight Wiseco wrist pins (to let the engine rev faster) and it's been problem free ever since(now about 3600 miles).
This summer I replaced my steering post, and in doing so I had to pop the engine out. So while it was out I wanted to open it up and check on everything to make sure it'd be in perfect running order for the coming season, and it was. This engine hasn't been started since putting in new gaskets and washers this summer.
And here's what I can sell with the engine;
-Carbs (stock 38mm Kehin)
-Stock Exhaust pipe, silencer and y-pipe
-stator(everything inside recoil housing is included)
any questions about it feel free to ask, I'm trying to be as honest as possible about this engine
