Cuzz it's all going to depend on Project workload. Our getting out of here by end of year is looking more and more like around the end of Feb. In which case it would be rough for me to make it. If I do I'll be limited on time.

Me or Cuzz? ^^^

If work allows, I'll ride. If not, you guys have fun. Right now with economy like it is, if I can work, I will. Then if it continues to slow down in construction, I don't have to go south or east coast to work next year when this project completes. As much as I love to sled, I like to eat and afford to continue the style of life I'm used to.

There is no excuse, I'm 6-7 years away from not having to punch a clock for anyone. That won't happen on unemployment.

So again, if I can, I will...... if not, you have fun.

BTW are you staying at the lodge or in Dubois and trailering up daily? Might want to check pricing and get rooms booked, the crowds will be forming by Jan.

Andy and I have been talking a lot about going to Western Wyoming. I know another guy who is going to be in Tog around the same time. He rides with a fun group and they get a guide who really knows his way around. It looks like a blast every time they go. We'll know a lot more after Hay Days.

You gonna fly/rent? There is a chance we'll have room.

I'd prefer take my sled but not too sure about driving to western Wyoming. Are you guys pulling sleds or renting?

Ask for a guide out of Tog called "Pup", knows the area really well and loves to ride as much as the guests he takes out.

I checked prices on taking wifey to Brooks Lake Lodge over Christmas........ Hope she enjoys the pictures instead. $500 a night is a little steep for me.

Why would you ask such a dumb question. You know we'll be driving.

I seem to recall an older guy guiding when we were there, didn't get a name.

Yeah I had a feeling you'd be pulling lol. Any dates getting thrown down yet? If it's beginning of January I think I could do it.

You own a sled to ride. Why rent when others are willing to drive with you? I'd rent if I went to Revy or Stewart.

We are thinking middle of January sometime. As of now it is Andy and myself. We don't know if Jay or Slickwilly will make it. Andy's son could end up going if it was early January. Right now there is just so much up in the air. We could even do an enclosed trailer with two sleds and one in the bed like when Jay and I went in April. We'll figure it out as it gets closer.

If it's in the first half of January I'm game. I don't have a pussy sled, it can handle the back of the truck without falling apart. Your the fucker that mentioned flying/renting not me lol.

LOL. A 136" sled will fit better in the back of a truck than a 153" would.

I asked if you were flying and renting. I never said I was. I hope to still do the Slednutz ride. I dunno if I can handle a whole week again. I might do the second half.

I'm going to wait and see who is doing what for the group ride. I'd still be game for a whole week, but I'd probably take a day off in the middle to get drunk lol. I guess we'll see who will commit and what dates. Or in Danny's case, when they'll commit to and when they'll back out of that commitment.

I might do a whole week but if we drive to Togwotee that will be a week. I can't do two weeks and then two more for a wedding/honeymoon in July. I'd hate to be tapped out for next fall/winter.

Danny will come and bring his bitch. It can be Slednutz in one how and Whipped Slednutz in another.

I'm making no commitment as i will be sledless unless the ole man goes and trailers the sled over, or rubi is kind enough to bring an extra. unless that happens, wont be doing much riding this winter.

Dude I already told you bring your sled! You'll get to ride homie, that is if your willing to drive for it. Store your sled in the garage, unless the sled is dads sled?

I'm working on a scheme for the U.P. ride that would involve me, Hog, Gerbil, and a guy from work that has a 4-place trailer and a one ton diesel. I would plan on arriving on Tuesday after the Superbowl (to better accommodate Hogger) and then ride 3 to 5 days depending on conditions. I'm super stoked for the U.P. this year and I sure hope that trip doesn't fall by the wayside.

As for Togwotee... I'm a big fan of bang-for-buck in vacations, so I'd need to find Minnesota people willing to go and help defray expenses. Since I'm a cheap SOB, I'd probably vote to stay in Dubois because it's less costly. I'd love to stay at Brooks Lake or Togwotee Mt. Lodge, but I imagine that 5 days would cost about as much as I paid for a month and a half vacation last year. It's pretty easy to talk me into a good braaping adventure, so keep me in mind for both trips being discussed. If I do Idaho again this year, I'd be able to do the Student Driver trip too- if that comes to fruition.

I ended up with a refurbished Craftsman that is in great condition. It has a Briggs engine which is what I had that blew up. I'm thinking it was a freak thing and will give it one more try. I can return the thing and get my money back up to 90 days. WTF? You can go buy something at Sears and return it. Why not just rent mowers, snow blowers, etc. LOL
