Default Primary help

OK so I have 66 gram weights, what spring would I need to engage at 3600-3800 and still shift out to 7900? The one I have in there is either an almond-gold (150/270) or almond-red (165/310) (I can't remember which one, I'll check tomorrow). Right now with the 66's I engage at 4100 and operate at 7900. I want to keep it at the same operating RPM, so I just want a different finish rate on the spring. It used to have an all black spring in it - with 64 weights if I remember right. Most likely it's not a Polaris black @ 45/75 or 80/340 right? Most likely it's an EPI 145/280 or TEAM 100/275 right?

Any info guys?

Most likely its an EPI black, I ran one in my sled for a while with the 66's

You want to engage at 3600 but you're at 4100 now?
I'd drop the initial spring rate by 10-20lbs.

before you change springs are the rollers touching the wieghts with the engine off? if the rollers are not snug up to the weight that will raise the engagement rpm of any spring/weight combo. everyone is told to shim there primary for there belt clearance. I will go against conventional thinking and say piss on belt clearance, make sure the rollers are tight against the weights first.
