That is correct for the rear. You have an Xtra-10 suspension, FYI. The dealership will be able to provide you with the heavier duty springs, otherwise PM dirty_harry; he just bought some from somewhere.

I have not done it in a while. sled is new to me. I really have to get the shock revalved but am a little shy on cash. I am gonna buy a new set of torsion springs for 40.00. They are .406/77 and i hope they will do good for it. as far as the shock gois hopefully can wait a couple of months. As far as the FRSS and the RRSS goes does it help if i turn them also to high for the scissor stops??

I got another question also....I am going to throw in a set of torsion springs tonight. Wife is going to school so i am hoping I can get it done in around 3 hrs. Can someone walk me threw the steps in changing them out?? I have not gotten into the skid too much yet and i do not want to mess it up

Take out the rear bolts, dropping the rear of the skid. Remove the collar holding the idler wheels on, remove idlers, and slide the springs off. Replace with new springs and put the idlers back on. Re-mount suspension and done.

The coil sping will come off with the shock. Once its off apply pressure to the spring cap and push it so the shock rod passes through the slot in it and the spring will come right off. Saves weight for shipping if you have to ship em.

anyone that does shocks should have a spring compressor... so no, if you want to sit and spin the retainer clip loose that is up to you..

As for the springs, call your local Poo dealer and inquire on the Euro Springs
