Buy something else first, imo they're not worth $300. I'd look for a used set and buy new petals.

If you haven't touched the clutching or gearing that is probably something that you could look at instead of the reeds right away.

When done as an accompaniment to other mods, ie clutching, piping, intake mods, they will improve throttle response. But on a stock sled they dont do much.

aNj, just adding a VF isnt going to benefit much on stock motors. I agree with powersledder. What sled is that youre working on to improve? Like others stated, work on the clutching and gearing, would be a start - also heads cut is another way to improve snappier power. There are many ways, and how much money youre willing to spend. WL
