Default Where to Boondock in WI, and with who?

I have always had really old sleds with leaf spring suspension. I just picked up a 2001 Polaris SuperSport 550. I know it isn't the fastest sled in the world but it should work good for me. I got it in the spring and have not had a chance to ride it yet. I have been looking at it in the garage all summer and I am really ready for snow. I just picked up a set of plastic skis, bar risers, hand guards, a couple other things for it.

Anyways I am wondering who has good places to ride. I am looking to do a little boondocking and trail riding with it this winter. I live in West Allis, WI and I have a cottage in Pell Lake, WI. So I am looking to do some riding around those areas and people to ride with. Let me know. Thanks.

First off, the monster sticker on your hood makes you lose 5hp

second, be careful where you ride in WI, its pretty much illegal to ride anywhere except on designated trails.

Yeah, the first thing I did was take them off. I will shoot him a PM. I know it is hard to find anything but trails to ride here. Thats why I am asking. It sucks a little. I was hoping to hook up with some people who had land or something. We have a few acres in Green Bay and a cottage out near Lake Geneva but mostly just trails there too.

Meh, just ignore me, it works better that way.

Anyways as these guys above me mentioned, there's really no good place to boondock here in the state unless you can find a good parcel of land or a pristine lake/pond. Plus we don't get the snow most years to actually boondock. The UP is your best bet due to the lake effect snow they get and they are much less strict with their off-trail use up there, if its public property or secluded enough you can usually go there unless otherwise specified.

We all know you don't have a real snowmobile. You just sit on a giant cheese wheel and go "vroom vroom vrooooooooooom"

Forgive me Mr. 650, but you weren't around for a long time and looked down your nose at us! I forgot that you were in Wisconsin as well, but you ditched Polaris and had Dick Cheney as your avatar. I thought you lived in HELL!

Will you adopt me? Or are you a Cougar possibly?

MRSNOWMAN- I am a few mins from lake geneva. We will have to get together and ride this winter. The lake itself is usually a little shady because there will be spots with thin ice every once in a while. My grandpa sunk a sled there a bunch of years ago. Oh well anyways. Hope to see you out there.

Well I do look down upon you as my sheep who follow each other neatly off a cliff, but that's my fault for creating you that way... But anyways, I laughed damn hard when you said you thought I lived in hell! But the Polaris ditching wasn't personal, it was a great deal on a 2005 600 so what the hell do you want me to do, ignore it and continue riding a 91'?
