Default "Windshield Bags" Do they serve a purpose?

Hey guys

I just picked up a new windshield bag for my sled and I was wondering if they really do serve a purpose?
Who's got one, how do you like it and what do you carry in it!
The reason I got mine is because I cant put any "beverages" in the back seat trunk due to the cooler heating the shit out of everything in there.

I've got one but it's so small it's almost not worth it. I keep my clutch weights and tools in mine. Not really big enough for anything else lol.

I just put one my sled this year. I actually bought it after seeing it on Mud's sled last year. Although it's small I like it for small stuff that you want at hand. Small snack, camera, hat, map or other stuff like that.

I use mine constantly. Registration, tools, snacks, gatorade, spark plugs, zip ties, great addition.

I thought the same thing, untill I picked it up this morning. The one that I got is the new style Balistic Bag. It's much bigger than the older style ones. By the way I bet I can fit at least 6 cans of "POP" and a pack of Colt's Mild!

I've been thinking about getting one myself. I can't put anything in the trunk without it being destroyed. I have a spare waterpump belt in there now and it looks like it has a million miles on it already.

I want to get one for the Storm. I had one on my last XLT and loved it. I carried my spair key, camera and anything else I didnt want to get wet. I have a feeling that the wedge bags are more roomy than the edge ones.

Yep, carry drinks, snacks, etc. The windshield bag is drier and doesn't bounce everything around as much.

I have one on each sled and find them most useful. We each carry a quart of oil on one side (just in case) and then tuck maps, cameras, cell phones and so forth on the other side.

Looked in there today, I must of had a Supersize, jumbo twix bar. There was candy bar smashed all over in there, had to take a screw driver to dig it out. eeewwwww.

I had some pop cans in there, I stopped to rest, opened the door, the cans look like they had been shot with a shot gun.
