got these last week. But couldn't say no to the price. They both have spark and both turn over freely so going to finish cleaning them up and get two new batteries and then test them and either sell one or both or use them as money makers for rentals over the summer.
I'm in the process of cleaning them up getting new batteries, plugs, gas, oil and making sure they are running properly. I will keep you up to date

nope got them in chanohan IL for $650. for the fact that they don't run but the guy was very nice but not the sharpest tool in the shed and he said they both ran before but don't now. But they both spark and he said they fired on starting fluid so sense I know motors fairly well I should have them going by next weekend if I get time to work on them.
RED one RUNS. kid was retarded when he worked on it but Its now fixed runs and cuz it just happend this way but now has a aftermarket pipe. already had upgraded motor mounts, grates and thats it. Its now for sale. who wants a fun toy for the summer. cheapest fun to have besides buying a lame ass row boat
I would do $500 for the labor i spent on it the new battery and the pipe I just put on it. I know I got them for cheap but they weren't working took me time and money to get them running so that would break me even on that one and i don't even know about the other one haven't started it yet
Dont know if this will help you PS, but i know back in the day, those style of Kawis were real popular around QCs and around Iowa City out at the Lake McBride and the likes. I never heard anything bad about them. Hope this helps.
So I got my money back, I am actually interested. So how do these JS550's run? Good, bad, oddities?
cant find a bad thing about these skis nor about there motors. this one has good compression sounds beastly. I know I sounds like a salesman saying this sht but I know sean looked as well and didn't find out any bad news about the motors nor have I heard there pretty bullet proof.
