People need to start asking actual questions. "any clue" is like asking if anyone knows where I can the bolt I need, it's not a standard one and I don;t know what it looks like, any clues?

But I'll be nice and assume you're talking about a heated helmet visor? One that uses a 12V source wired into the sled? Attach the ground wire to a good ground on the steering hoop, make sure you get bare metal contact. Then attach the hot wire to one of the yellow wires in the chassis harness coming out of the voltage regulator.

Powersledder, its warms the cockles of this ol mans heart to see u intuitively understand the problem and rush to with a answer that sloved this lads problem. Someone ought to give you a blue ribbon and a shot of Jack for the outstanding service u just delivered the other day. Is that enough bullshit for one morning?

I just inferred that he really did mean heated in stead of heat.

Heated shield would imply that it's producing heat, heat shield implies it's blocking heat...

Well there's the Prox, the ProX and the Pro X depending on what year and model you are talking about....

I'm actually being half way serious. To most Pro X means the 01-03 440's, ProX or ProXR means the 04 800 special edition or the 04 440, and ProX means any variation of the consumer models(550, 600, 700, 800, X2)

The stuff about the prox's isn't fact, just what I've interpreted from spending time over on the 440 forum on HCS
