Default Now this

So I sold my red 86 js550 stand up last saturday then found this and couldnt say no to the price. picked it up that tuesday cleaned the carbs this weekend washed it cleaned the engine bay and check everything guy had carbs partially apart so I might have put the fuel lines back together incorrectly because it wont pull fuel out the tank to fire but runs on starting fluid. so just needs a lil more work and will be ready for water

See if there is one of the service books for it here. If not I'm sure this may help someone later on.

I'm not familiar with Seadoo models but I was looking at a 1995 manual and it looks pretty good. They seem to show where all the lines are going. Try page 89. Looks like it might be useful. See if that helps any.

This was painted black i would trade. the cover you have does it have all three holes filled or just have the cover?

this seat was just redone and glad it was looks better than stock.

guy bought it from some one in new york used it till the registration ran out then it sat in the garage. i cleaned the whole thing up fixed the lines on the carb and she runs and is ready for some water.

sean guy not answere phone calls these days?

oh bryan we need to talk about that 440 hood you said you had. if you still have it give me a price for it. getting lazy on my project hood and would rather just get a non busted hood

You might be that lucky. FYI the Rotax engine has an oil reservoir of sorts - from the tank to the rotary shaft/rotary valve back to the tank is a 3/4 tube. If the seals on the shaft leak, it dumps oil into the crankcase.

well it has gotten better once i let it sit then start it up again. tried starting it for the last 2 days a decent amount of times and so oil was prolly just filling up in the exhaust. its getting better.

going to put in some seafoam. and take a easy ride on it for the first day to settle the seals sense it has not bean run-used in about 4 yrs

seafoam wont do anything

yea theres Oil feed line to the oil pump and oil feed line to crank case.

ski is dumping oil even at idle? does it get far worse when you turn oil pump to full throttle with ski at idle??
