Default Wolfie buys a sled.

Loaded it up at about 1:30 today.

Unloaded at 6 and taken for a maiden rip around the yard. Skis came off the ground and about the same time that happened, I heard mom scolding from across the yard "THAT'S MY YARD AND TEARING IT UP IS NOT FUNNY!!!" I think I was all giddy and laughing.

Happiest Wolfie ever.

'bout time!

Congrats on the "new" ride. Now you will have no excuses to make any of the rides.

Congratulations on the new ride, and welcome to the 500 posse. I think your main goal now should be sweet mods and upgrades to intimidate Gerbil. Good luck.

just remember, if you do donuts on the brothers football field, the tracks are easy to follow unless you can blend in to the weekend morning gas station traffic and confuse the trail.

he was selling the Corvette also, you get that worked into the deal?

I put out the offer of all the jing I had on that Corvette. There just wasn't room on the trailer. The bro doesn't play football, and never did. So no worries there.

Baller, I already have a few small mods in mind, such as a micro riser and reviewing the suspension settings to tune them for my weight. I have to treat Gerbil nicely, as I may have to hire him for free consultation, beings as he has established himself as the authority on sweet 500 mods.

He may be but tread with caution he just may be a studio authority on 500's. What sort of riser were you looking for I have this huge chunk of aluminum that I figured I could use for stuff and if you were willing I could possibly make a test riser for you the price would be nothing. You would have to post a review though.

Wolfie was only one digit short, of watching her brother haul her sled home thru the windsheild of a Vette.

Tell ya what Wolfie after you left I went straight to work on my sled, that 3" riser isn't going to work for me. I don't like the way it pulls on my throttel cable, long story short, it's brand new, $30 shipped.

3" or more rise on a GenII/Edge I would recommend throttle and brake extensions. You can get a throttle extension from powermadd and just get a regular 6" brake line extension from an auto parts store.

Baller's sled is a girl, especially with all the purple. There is no purple on my sled. There's also the matter of me not being into riding girls.

My side kick put 3" on his 2001 XC 700 no trouble what so ever, and actually that's what inspired me to put them on mine. They do go on alright with cutting the zip ties, but I didn't like how it pulled my throttle cable when I turned the bars to the right.

Sort of wondered about Baller. Sure am glad to hear he likes riding girls.

I was thinking of the big city imported football players you were talking politics with back when you were still in school.

Oh no! Madcow is making fun of me! I need to create two threads to announce to the world of SN that he is a big jerk and that I'm leaving since someone said something funny and maybe even true about me! Then I'm going to show his mean self, and not actually leave, but sit and roll in the puddles of attention and demand even more attention! That'll show everyone how cool and chill I really am, and that no one should say mean things to anyone!!!1! I am also going to say a lot of completely misspelled threatening things like "but of or im calling !" instead of getting the real point across by spelling things right.

Then I would total sit and cry and look at the monster sticker wall paper in my room in my parents house, and wear my green yellow and red striped plaid slednecks extra baggy riding pants until I felt like a badass again. Then I'll go on facebook since I sat there for over three minutes, feeling sorry for myself. Then my friends will tell me "OMFG that madcow is such a meanie! You were totally slammed by him and he needs to be taught a lesson about how to be ONLY nice to ppls!!1!"

Hey!! I saw an old weight bench on the local SwapShop radio show! It was only 25 bucks, and it came with 130 pounds of weights for free! And I'm totally set on the monster stickers since they sponsored me for a year (actually, they really did sponsor me for a year) and I got a ton of them for free. To make me a real badass, I'm going to find an old buffalo or deer skull with massive horns, put a grill in it's face, and some gold chains around it, and paint it black and silver and gold, then mount it to the hood of my sled so that people will know what a badass freestyler I am.

And since I only put 25 bucks into my freestyle seat, I'll have 25 left over to buy a cracked to hell used helmet! I'm sure Baller can mock up that 10+10 riser from that huge piece of aluminum and ship it to me for free!

....

Alright really, I'm thinking a 3 or 4" riser (I need to do some evaluating on this one, plastic skis, get a new front left shock, and some 45 or 90 degree ends for the bars, since I need to put a grip on the left side anyways. 1.25" track is also in the makings (probably much later makings).

For sure get plastic ski's and if your getting a different track go 136" and if possible get a cobra 1.352 track,Better for off trail than the ripsaw. Any larger and you will have to get smaller drivers.

So far the recommended mods only exceed the purchase price by a factor of 1.75. I'm pretty much laughing for real about Wolfie needing a riser!

Wait a second, when did you see me on the sled

Now I need some pants that aren't two sizes too big, or a few more doughnuts. ...and maybe a better fitting coat. Then I'll look awesome until I try something awesome.
