So it slowly coasts down to a normal idle? My TXL-Indy does the same thing. Either it's the pipe cooling down or the carbs aren't synched.

seams like mine was the same way, haven't run it for a couple years. Low compression make it unreliable to start and a bigger pain when warm.

in the how to section is there any sync carbs and set choke topics?

a bog coming off idle like that means several things. to much fuel, not enough fuel, out of sync carbs meaning one slide is going up ahead of the other.

if it was to little fuel like a plugged pilot jet the sled would usually follow the bog with a bang and then take off when the throttle was hammered down. does it do that?

to much fuel is usually because the choke plunger stuck in the open position. remove choke plungers to make sure they are free to move. make sure there is slack at the choke lever.

good gas?

I am planning on checking the synce but I know I synced it right.
As for a plugged pilot jet they a clean and there is no bang and it takes off.
I reset the air screw to one turn out from seat and it still bogs a little but not like it was.
I will check the choke plunger's tomarrow.

try going one size smaller on the pilots.

also it is bogging now, but what is the temp outside?

Thats what I was thinking it's to warm out. It is around 50 when I am playing with it so I am going to wait till it get's into the 20's to fine tune.

Turn the airscrews all the way in as your next step. If it improves more, go to the next leaner pilot jet. Then you'll have some adjustment in the screws.

Try them at 3/4 turn, I always had good luck with the older Fugi engines at that setting.

just did a simple search on net and found this right off....so WTF CHUCK?

single mikuni carb on it, and under the hood it says "air screw 1.0 turns out), and i'm pretty sure theres only one adjustment screw on these carbs (besides the idle screw linked to the throttle).
