Default 1991 Indy Lite 340 drive bearing replacement help

I picked up an Indy Lite for the kids recently. Some brake parts were missing, and the front drive bearings were shot. I was able to pull the drive axle, remove the old bearings, and am in the process of putting it back together.

It is an Indy Lite Standard, not the gt or deluxe, so it has no jack shaft.

My question is this--there were only two flanges that hold the bearings in place, and I thought there were supposed to be 4. Two on each side. I picked up two more at the local sled store, but do not know if the flanges are supposed to sandwich between the tunnel, one inside, and one outside, or if the flanges go on each side of the bearings, and go inside the tunnel, or outside?

There were no spacers behind the secondary clutch, and it seems like there should be.

Anyone with any experience on these sleds, your help would be greatly appreciated.

They go on one side of the frame or the other only. If you put one on each side, the bearing would not be held tight enough.
More than that I can not help with.

mine is not within sight currently. most flanges go outside for ease of access. you should be able to see bolt holes on both sides of the frame.
I'm loosing my mind, but as long as I keep the part that tells me when I gotta pee I should be OK.
