Well we made it up for another ride. Found some decent powder and Indygirl found out how much work the pow can be. Was a good day no stucks and no wrecks. Before long Indygirl will have this powder riding down and I'll try to keep up with her.

Our forecast show's more snow for the mountains over the next week. We're gonna get up again on Saturday and try a new area. Will be four other guys with us so we'll see how that goes. It will give me a chance to pick on some Cats though.

NICE !!! Makes me want to skip working and head back up to the sacred land. Last ride up(Dec. 29) we had about 3 - 5 feet up on top. With the storms coming in later this week I'm sure that will deepen even more.

That would be RMKer in the middle picture.
I did not attempt the real deep powder with the ol' indy. This time I took it into the deeper powder and holy chit - what a workout that was!!! Still getting use to the power of the 700, but I'm getting there. Trying to work on the sharp turns in the pow pow and leaning hard to where I feel like I am going to fall off. Amazing if you use a little throttle in the turn it gets you right back up. That is what I am trying to get use to instead of letting off on it when I think I am going to tip. It is fun thou and a good way to keep in shape!!:p

Typically I ride in the Wyoming - Tunp range area with the occasional trip to the Unitas in Utah or Togwotee Pass Area. But hey I'm game for anywhere there's enough snow and where I can get high.....lol.

V.E., have you ever ridden the Pinedale area? I was thinking about checking out the Wind Rivers this year.

Not yet, but I'm up for riding anywhere up here in the InterMountain west area. I just moved up here last year, so there's still loads of areas I haven't been to yet. Prior to that it had been 25 years since I last rode. And then it was in the hills of IL. I fell completely in love with Mtn. riding very quickly. Currently I'm limited until my new motor is complete and I get my V.E. back, I'm a little cautious about riding mama's RMK too hard. Mine should be done next week, then of course I need to break-in before hammering it too hard. 2 to 3 weeks I should be back to normal. Then wherever anybody wants to ride, I'm up for it.
