Default 1997 Polaris Indy 500 CHaincase

I am taking apart the chaincase and i want to change out the bearing on a 97 Polaris Indy 500 and i cant seem to figure out how to get the bearing out or how to take off the complete chain case off the sled.

Here, i've done this before. This is a step by step:
You don't have to flinch for me to know that you're scared.

I removed everything off the chaincase and got the bearing a centimeter out, but i still cant get the chaincase completely off. Do i have to remove the brakes to do that or what, the diagram you showed is just a little off and dosen't give me the right instructions.

If you have the water cooled brake set up, you need to remove the brake and the coolant hoses to remove the chaincase. The chaincase has to be disconnected from everything before you can remove it. You will also most likely need to take the cover of the clutch side of the driveshaft so you can wiggle that back and forth if you have not already done so.
