Your carb floats are bouncing around and letting the needle drop, then lets more fuel in. Usually an indicator your needle and seats are starting to go.

really.. is there anyway to check that for sure?? i shut the fuel off on the way home today but it still came out. is that just the fuel that in the line from the valve and bowl coming out?
and it doesnt start hard either like the bowl is empty, usually 2 or 3 pulls..

Oh if it's just a little bit it's no big deal. If shutting the fuel off doesn't stop it then it isn't the needle and seat.

But this just started happening?

shutting it off didnt help, it started within the last 2 or 3 trailer rides.. doesnt ever leave a puddle or smell of gas when riding or stopped during the day.. only in the dam trailer does it like to leave its mark...
any other ideas??

What's the overflow? I didn't think the Edge tanks had an overflow.

That makes sense. Otherwise how else would you get fuel out of the tank? I remember my Indy 400 would leak out the vent tubes.

There is a breather hose on the top of the tank that loops around the steering hoop a couple of times. Go get a few more feet of fuel line( probably 1/8" but check yours) because yours might have cracked, and replace with new line.

i dont get why, i mean i understand when its full to the top, but it does it even when its half or less... and the fact it only does it in the trailer makes it even harder to figure out.

how long is your current one? It's usually rand across the steering hoop 3 or 4 times (from side to side) and zip tied in place.

I am going to have to disagree with your stance on carbs Zeezle. I would have given pretty much anything to get my carbed sled back just to not have to deal with the wiring harness alone on my efi sled.

shut off valve is working, i shut off the valve leave it running sled runs out of gas and shuts off. one of the float assemblies is not working properly, needle and seats are not replaceable other then replacing the assemblies for 50 a shot. im going to figure out which is not working and hope there is a spec of dirt in it so i dont need to sped 100 on floats...

you can pressure test the needle and seats. i have always just flipped the carbs upside down, put 10psi of air to them and see if they hold. with the bowls removed of course.

You can clean the seat with one of those white pen erasers. Just a couple of twists will be enough to clean it off.
