600 conversion are easy rock, I know of several different ways to do them. An 800 is also an easy engine to drop into an edge chassis. I still like the XR8's better than the XR440's though.

Hell, Rubi (I think it was Rubi) even casually mentioned a 600 engine might be available for me.

Drop the 600 in the edge you already have. The upgraded shocks and track would be nice.

I honestly don't want to do much actual modding to my current ride. I'd rather buy something and use that for modding towards any off-trail purposes.

Buy a roller and engines parts at haydays. I think I am going to be looking for a bunch of small block parts just to stock up on. Build an engine for $500 and sell it for $1500.

A roller would be a good investment if you have a good motor to throw at it. I hope this years Haydays will be a little smoother this year.

I've been keeping my eyes peeled on CL and similar.

Hoping to go with a Pro-x 440 chassis, 136'd, with a Liberty 600 or similar powerplant.

Yes, I have a 2003 ProX 600 motor. I'll probably rebuild it next fall and then sell it. I want to run it before I sell it though, and that's where my plan gets a little foggy. Too much work to pull out my 600 to try it, so I don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe when Baller finds out he snapped the crank on his 800 I'll run it in his chassis for awhile?
