Default 1/4 mile

This is a picture I just found going threw my computer. I took it in June of 2006. I have no idea who it is but look at his 1/4 mile dial in on the side of the sled. Saweet!

My bro and I were talking the other day about sleds on the tracks. He wants me to get into it but I'd have a bit of a weight disadvantage.

10.50 and I bet there isn't a TON done to it.

I believe it was a pipped 600 triple. It had a slick track and those skis with the little roller blade wheels, probably had some clutching done for the strip? maybe not? It was FAST fo sure.

it dont take much of a sled to be a killer in the 1/8 mile and quarter mile.

an xlt with pipes and a good setup would be a killer 1/8 mile cheap beater.
same with an ultra or storm, you can pick them up dirt cheap. toss 2 grand into it to convert it to ashpalt and also get some go fast goodies. you would be close to 100 mph or better depending on the sled in the 1/8 mile. think of the money in a car to do that.

Bryan you really need to come up for BIR this year!! 10.50 ain't even in the ballpark!! Come up and drink some Crown with me and watch the 8.50 sleds do 150+ in the 1/4!!! Fucking SWEEEEEET!!!!! Nothing but the sound of a highly tuned piped triples screaming down the track!!!!! 2 years ago some toolbox built a 1000 Mach Z twin and managed a whole 117 in the qaurter but for some strange reason he wasn't there last year!!!

Heck yeah there were faster sleds at the track. They were actually faster than the street bikes. No 1/8 mile tracks around these parts.
