Polaris, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki or Can Am? Utility ATV for 4X4. Which ones are good? Which ones are bad? What size if I want to put a two-up seat on it and take my bitch for a ride in the Yoop?
I'm thinking I want EFI and at least a 500cc. No shifting and fully automatic.

Yamaha Grizzly 700 FI or EFI. I put about 3,000 miles on mine (work) this summer. Not a single problem. The boss has over 10k on his 2007 version, and we have only changed the oil and put gas in the bastard. No matter the weather or temp, it starts every time and drives awesomely.
It also has enough go to clear the finishline tabletops at a certain race track or two (I wouldn't know that).
Drove one with a broken collarbone and was fine thanks to the kickass Electronic Steering Assist!
Your bitch will be able to steer it all by her lonesome and even haul you home when you drink too much and pass out across the rack!

i wouldnt mnd a 500 4x4 for hunting and what not, my uncle has a couple older honda 300 and they do everything you could want them to and more.
my buddy has a like 98 or 99 cat 500 4x4 bought it for 800 didnt run, we cleaned the carb and fucker is like new, and that 500 we haul wood with and everything else you could imagine.
i would look at the 500 sportsman to be about one of the best atv's out there. that 500 engine runs forever. my brother had 1 that he sold it at 7000 miles and it still ran great. when he trail rode with the polaris 600 and bigger atv's he got a lot better mileage but still could do anything they could.
honda and yami are known for bullet proof engines. i wouldnt be scared to buy any late model atv.

Haven't blown one up yet. Did fry a Ski Don't on Gogebic a few years ago. Gerbs, Cuzz will probably sell you his cheap at the end of this season.
I fawked up a cylinder on my 2008 the first year I had it. It wasn't bad and still ran fine so could have been that way from when I bought it. Seems like someone started it cold and went balls out... which I never do.
