Default belt squeal

I just bought an '03 Viper. Beautiful condition, 1500 miles, but the drive belt squeals when idling. Not every time, but usually. Is this a clutch tension adjustment or alignment problem? Is the drive clutch adjustable?

Thanks for any hints. I know I have to check belt is correct size-tomorrow.

Most likely belt tension adjustment.

I just had this problem on my sled, the spacer in the secondary clutch is completely worn out(squished) and caused the clutch to "collapse" more. This raised the belt in the secondary, causing too much belt tension(too little deflection)
