Default Ordered a dragon!

Either thursday or friday I'll be picking up an 08 700 dragon switchy. I paid for it friday but the dealer didn't have one, they had to order it. It's gonna be a long week! I'll post pics as soon as it's home!!

No way! I thought you were getting an XLT. The Dragon should be a sizeable jump in performance from the Indy 400. I just rode the Dragon 700 Switchback at the Canterbury Snocross yesterday. On the limited ride we were allowed, it felt very capable. The Yammi Nytro didn't compare favorably to that Polaris.

Enjoy man!

I decided against the xlt for a backup sled. Last wednesday I was bitching about my rxl being down and my wife said go get a new sled. Yet she was still surprised friday when I told her I bought one lmao. The indy400 is now for sale, the rxl is my backup.

Nice choice, I have the little brother (600 switchback) we will have to compare notes on them. First thing I found was the foam air filters on the dash like to pack with snow when riding powder I orderd the prefilters for the RMK they work great.#2 They have a grill in the front belly pan where they used to have a radiator, does nothing but pack with snow. I talked to a sevice tech about closing it off and he said it should"nt be a problem so I did.#3 Front shocks, I read every thing I could find on them before I bought but there was not much, they work good just need fine tuning I need to find out where to get the air pump for them. #4 oiL consumtion, they say it should be 30-60 to one mine seams to average about 40 to one. I dont know what I will do with this one yet seams a little much to me? Wally

you cant get an air pump for the front shocks as of yet. they are nitrogen not air filled. but they are working on coming out with an air pump for the sleds.

The black dragons were 07 models and there wasn't a switchback. Mine is an 08.

I don't understand why the 2.0 air pump dosen't come with the sled. You pay a small fortune for the sled and they can't throw one in with the tool kit. I guess thats why there called stealers!!!

Your right Madcow the pump is not avalable yet I was told it would be 1-18-2008 by a local dealer today, also yes they are nitrogen filled from the factory on both the high and the low preasure but the low preasure end can be switched to air for trail side fine tuning with a pump. Air will change pressure more with different temps but with the fox floats I didnt have to ajust them with different temps. If you order these shocks aftermarket they come with the air pump and the stuff to change the low preasure to,Polaris didnt think it was needed. I wonder if Yamaha gives a pump with the sleds they sell with floats?
Polaris part #2877143 for pump kit msrp 69.99 I'll let you know how it works. Wally

Tool kit is a combo plug wrench screwdriver, a team clutch speading tool and a pull start strap
