sync and set chokes.
setting the chokes is pretty easy once you have it figured out.
the first thing I like to do to reset them is to first take them out of the carb and clean them off, a simple blast with cleaner works fine, and then give a shot into the carb.
put them back into place, loosen the lock nut and turn each one down in a little ways until the little handle for using the choke is very sloppy. then turn one out until the handle has just a little slack in it. then turn up the next one until the handle starts to tighten a little more, then turn that one back in just a tiny bit, then move on to the last carb, it really is that simple.
if you have the carbs off you can verify them by using a bendy light. you will see the hole in the middle of the side of the carb and the hole on the airbox side of the carb, stick the light into the hole in the middle of the carb, looking in from the back of the carb flip the lever and you will see light come through, then as you open it to full choke you can see the plunger go up. do that to all 3 and you will be able to see how close you really are
the biggest thing is to make sure you have a little slack at the lever. you dont want it hanging up the plungers
