Attention Mud and Ratstang - Jackson Hole Hill Climb Lodging Proposal
Hey guys -
Care to combine efforts on lodging? Ryan Mack and I are showing up on the 23rd and are staying for a week. We have had some luck finding sweet houses in the valley in the past for pretty reasonable money at that time of year. Let me know if that interests you and I'll get some research going.
Ok Ratstang is aware of this thread and I'm sure he'll chime in soon. I believe we are thinking of riding 3 days, probably hillclimbs on the 24th for the finals. Considering that we'd probably show up the 23rd and depart 27th or 28th. If your ok with us not being there a whole week and lodging is reasonable I'm sure we could work something out. That is as long as you don't ask for naked pictures of anyones sisters lol.
Huh, if we went in on a house there would be plenty of room for Flatty to get his ass in gear and finally meet up with us?

Sounds like a plan to me. Mud pretty much summed it up. We wouldn't stay all week, but I think we could all save money from lodging together. No trailers on Teton pass might present a problem depending on where we plan on riding. Mud and Stan could solve the problem by putting their skills in fabricating this.
We don't need Mookie shying away from this because of a simple picture. Here's a pic of someones sister. Plenty more where this came from.
The Pass is not an issue. Mooks will be staying on the side that we ride. You'll just come up from Alpine on the west side of the mountains so there will only be Pine Creek Pass to deal with, and that is an easy one that allows trailers. We'll only cross Teton pass when we go over to watch the hillclimbs.
Nice!! I'm stoked, find us some lodging Mookster!!
What are these dates? I would love to go and bring a crew of corn fed farm boys. We have talked about it for years. I do need to watch my spending as I just bought that apartment and picking up my pickup in the next few days, so everything snowmobile is up in the air right now.

A small dilemma that needs a quick answer because things are filling up lodging-wise at the hill. There was some kind of screw up, and the place I reserved wasn't actually available to be rented. That place had 3 bedrooms, but two couches - enough places for everyone to sleep on something at a rate of 275/night. What she has left has 3 bedrooms and one couch for the same rate, or 4 bedrooms and a pull out couch for $439 per night. Seems like a pretty big price hike, but I wanted to check with you guys before I do anything. Thouhts?
Sorry - I was clear as Mud! The three bedroom condo means one person would end up sleeping on the floor. Plenty of room to sit around and talk naked sisters! Having said that, Little Johnny will arrive last. Plus, as his name suggests, he's little. Problem may have solved itself.
I think we should go for the 3 bedroom condo for $275/night (divided by 5 for part of the time) and just work things out from there.
