A giant booter somewhere sounds like just the ticket to destroy myself and my sled. Count me in.

Bring some cash and I'll trade the IQr for your RMK so Shane can have the race sled he always wanted

Shane already has a nice sled, why would he want one that breaks every 10 miles?

There may be an ultra-high-performance Boonditcher Pro for sale sometime between now and then. Super cheap!

Mookie will puss out on the trip, but if he doesn't, I'm sure he'll need DCUBA to provide him with a sled. He's paying a good percentage of commercial rental prices though if I have any say in the matter....... piece of crap, non sled-buying bitch!

Shane is set on his lightweight little SuperX. I actually took it ditch banging a week ago and absolutely loved it lol, awesome little sled. With that said, Shane is almost big enough to start coming on sledding trips with me. He will be inheriting my Assault when he outgrows his SuperX, probably the season after next. Next season would be nice too though, because I get to upgrade when he takes it over..

No. I normally reserve a place for the dates that I KNOW I'll be there. I'm not sure when anyone will be there and I don't want to be on the hook for it if I reserve something and no one shows up. I know of a couple houses in Mass City that I was going to look into but haven't been up there yet. I will be there this weekend and relay the info on to someone?

Not with Peppermill. Not sure about the other houses. Again, I will know this weekend.

I think we should stay at a Peppermill place. I like being by Henry's. They have gas and grub, and booze. Also, we know we can get ice cream at the Rockland store.

Is there going to be anyone from the frathouse contingent? I suppose Mitch will be there, and I don't remember Jay's status. How about Olaf? If the frathouse is thinly populated for the groupride this year, all Mass City has going for it is breakfast at Grandma Myrt's.

So here's the plan as I see it -

On Wednesday 1-29-14 Harry drives the wife's Miata to my place, we leave it here for my 4 year old daughter to drive. My sled is pre-loaded on my trailer attached to my station wagon, and we head out to Olaf's. There we unload my sled from my trailer (leaving attached for return trip) and onto Olaf's truck. Olaf, Harry, and myself drive up to Eagle River and stop at that shitty grocery store that's open 24 hours and stock up on food around 11pm. We arrive in Mass around midnight. We ride like Nutz from Thursday AM to Sunday AM, leaving Mass around 1pm.

Breakfast is always at Grandma Myrts, and I have some crock pot recipes. Throw in about 500 stucks and that's a trip!

Wait, has new shit come to light here? I didn't think you were gonna be there, Bryan?

Hmmm... 500 stucks.... Is that total for all participants? I plan on only getting stuck between 20 and 30 times so someone's going to have to pick up my slack if we're going to hit 500 as a group.

If Power and Rides-in-Jeans Guy (Nate) are gonna be there Wednesday, that's when Gerbil and I will show up. We'll be there Wednesday with enough daylight for a quick rip and a few stucks.

It would be nice to get a commitment from Baller and Mookie. I don't expect that to happen though, since Baller won't say whether or not he's going with us to Island Park four days from now.

500 will be easy for all of us combined.

Ditto. Without Myrt's, Mass might as well roll up the sidewalks permanently. If they had them of course.

500 stucks? So I assume Bryan is planning on venturing back into the bowl behind mass? I believe he already set the record at 479 stucks in 2 hours back there a few years ago

Your plan is fucked up lol. I was under the impression Harry was working a half day on Thursday and heading up afterwards.

I guess I'm not sure when I'll be there.

What's this shit about Grandma Myrt's being closed down? How will we have the energy to get unstuck 500 times without a good hearty breakfast to keep us going?
