yep, with any luck you just need a throttle cable off an xcr 800, bolt them on and go. you might want to put the jets from your rounds into these carbs,

You will have to spend another $175 to upgrade those green carb slides to the black ones. The green ones crack and break.

Also I believe the carb boots that mount to engine are different.

Yep, you can run the green slides, but I wouldn't recommend it. Have had one break on me and cause engine damage on my piston port motor. Case reed motors, the pieces go into the reeds but also have a chance of going through them. Will cause a high idle lean condition too.

I did the swap that Ace mentions. For whatever reason I have better throttle response than I ever had. Not for sure if I can relate it to the carb slides, airbox mod or the tiny bit of grinding on the bottom of the jugs but it worked. My gut feeling is that the carb slides are either lighter or built to closer tolarances than the green ones.

Ace, did you ever ride your 800 with the old slides? Just wondering if you noticed a difference after changing them out.

What do you mean by grinding the bottom of the jugs? Do you mean like shaving them down?

Never rode mine with the green carb slides,so i couldn't tell you. I do know throttle pull is lighter. Someone on HCS weighed the slides and the updated black ones are half the weight of the green ones.

its top secret stuff. it was part of the trade for zrx's gas tank i got!

not shaving the bottom of the jug, but that is a great thing for someone trying to pass stock tech, you can shave the bottom of the cylinder to raise compression, and if they check the head for cc's it will still pass!!

It's the same as using a thinner base gasket in the older engines that had a fairly thick base gasket.
One of the tricks was to make a gasket from a brown paper bag and perma-tex it to keep it from blowing out. It would raise the compression by as much as 20 psi depending on the engine.

That amounts to taking a gasket that was 0.065 and going to one that was 0.015 or less.

^^ nope, its called reshapeing.

your carb boots should work, since you have 38's now, they might be a different part number than the xcr 800's but they should still work. the only thing you need to do it.
1 measure from the end of the carb to the groove.
2 measure from the end of your boot to the rubber ring inside. then trim the boot to make it so that ring will go into the groove.
