is this the case reed motor?

I from my experience as of late I guess i would run something close to what i am running. I would also do a regear.

stock is 23-40. I am running 22-41 in mine and it is super snappy.
I have some funky primary spring that starts to creep the sled at around 5 grandish. at 6500 it is starting to leave the line hard. at 7 grand it is locking in a taking off hard. sounds kinda high but it runs like a fricken little rocket.

for a new top gear, helix, use your secondary spring you have. a primary spring and wieghts, 210 dollars should get you setup pretty good. the sled will have a higher engagemnt, but with a lot more bang out of the hole. and the throttle response and midrange pull will be very nice improvement.

sounds like someone was trying to do something with this sled.

for sure i would take the bottom gear to a 36. if there is enough slack in the chain. otherwise run a 19-35 setup. this will drop the gearing down to about 100 mph at 1-1, but it will make a lot more snap out of the hole.

is there any numbers on the back of the helix. inside the webbing there might be a tiny r11 or any r# or there might be a 38, 36, 34, inside a little circle.
