Default '09 Cat site up!!

New sleds are on it!!
Say goodbye Yamaha!!
Arctic Cat is the new 4-stroke performance leader!!

177hp Turbocharged 1056cc !!
.

Yamaha has had 4-strokes out for 6 years now and no balls to put turbos on theirs.

Arctic Cat sets the bar again!

Im not worried....

I have no idea what Yammi has in store, tons of rumors. But Im not brand loyal I will hop ship at any time I see pleased, when I find a sled that suits me or my tastes at the time....Im gone!

However as much as I heard this new AC will be, I can stick a few bucks into the old Ape.

Actually its funny...the other day my wife asked why they dont make heated seats. AC has it on their 4 strokes....but so far they only show the 4 stroke in 128x1 inch track.

that much HP may be a little wasted on this particular track. No weights listed, as long as its within reason it shouldnt be an issue. The Apex hides the weight well and I heard the previous Jag did as well. and my gawd... ACE....it has a JAP motor in it

But this is good...good for the sport. It will raise the bar again. Or maybe not. We all seen what Cats F1000 did this year - NOTHING

177HP with a turbo? HA, I love my Arctic Cat and Yamaha but that is nothing to worry about. Yamaha made 150HP without a turbo. What happens if they add one? Will they be the first production sled to top the 200hp mark?

My AC starts up every time... 2 pulls. All of my Arctic Cats have, even the carbed ones. I wish I could say the same about Ski-Doo and Polaris, but I can't.

I have heard about bog issues and the 1000's not running right.... I think the new F-Series is ugly too. Even their new Turbo sled is ugly. At least the M-Series is better than before.

Yet cuzzi thinks AC is the most reliable sleds he has ever owned? Didnt his M6 have all kinds of little problems also?

If the M series is the pride of their lineup thats very sad! I spent the weekend on a M8 snopro and all I can say is it was a heavy, underpowered peice of garbage with horrible ergos.

the f-1000's have had bad cranks, tracks rubbing bolts for the diamond drive, welds breaking, seems on the gas tank not welded good and leaking. holes in the rear storage and fills with snow, fuel caps wont go on , sleds wont keep running, bad ecu's, hoods not closing very well, rubbing on the nose piece, pipe insulators loose and insulation is coming out, poorly routed brake lines almost rubbed through. poor top end performance. that is what i found in about 10 minutes of reading.

Before someone snaps, it should be noted that Madcow will rip into any mfr.

I seem to be that way lately? I used to be so fricken hard core brand loyal. now, the only sled I would buy now would be a yami, fst, or 600 cfi. other than that, I would be to nervous to buy anthing else. I cant stand the fact that the factorys come out with new just for the sake of new. piss on there snow cross, at this point if they came out with a gen II body with iq rear skid and somekind of front skid with an fst engine, at a rock bottom price because they didnt spend 5 million every 3 years on retooling, I would by it in a heart beat.
