Default Stick a Fork in The Big Dog He's Done

Went to my last speed run of the season today. The race was the Spring Nationals up in Hackensack MN. They had a 1000 shaved track with 2000 ft shut down. Made a few changes on the sled last week and it payed off pretty good. I made a total of 5 runs with my first run being my slowest with a speed of 123.8 my second run was a little better with a speed of 126.7. My third run was even a little better with a speed od 127.1. My fourth run was my fastest speed of the year with a speed of 128.4 mph. My last run would have been better yet but the starting line was so bad that I couldn't get any traction for the first 150 ft. Was a great day on the ice. Here is a video of my 128.4 mph run. Unfortunately you can't read the board. Pretty good racing season.

128.4! Way to go Riley! I'm sure you can't leave well enough alone, so tell us: Is it just going to be tweaking this summer or do you have big plans?

No big plans for this summer yet. I may just rering the motor and call it good. I have literally been working no this sled non stop for a year. It's time to take some time off from the sled. We will see later this summer how much I will put into it. I always thought the sled was capable of 130 + mph now I know it will be there next year. I would like to thank a few people for helping me through out the year. Jon Stevens( Madcow ) at Got Speed Racing, Richard Miller( Zrxpilot ) The best welder I have ever seen, and my Brother in law Rick Sandvik who owns Precision Pours 3 ball liquor pours my main sponsor.

Nice work Paul on one beautiful and damn good running sled. I expect to see 130+ out of next year.

How are you doing in the Big Dog contest? Still leading I hope, and when do you find out if you have won?

Tim it looks like the Big Dog Fell this weekend. Haven't seen the vidio but they are saying somebody on a Tcat ran over 130 in 1000 ft up in Canada. Doesn't surprise me I guess.

You know, if you can get a little nitrated hydrocarbons into the gas, it could help significantly. And I know how to do it without throwing off the specific gravity if your fuel is tested.

thats exactly what i was going to post. wow thats to funny.

actually paul is the big dog, the last video that he sent in with his 128 run did not count since the guy that did the video work, didnt get a visable read out on the camera. the guy that did win won with a 126 mph run.
